A total solar eclipse will cross parts of the Northern Hemisphere on Wednesday, but Greece will see only a tiny partial eclipse, with visibility limited to parts of the country’s northwest shortly before sunset.

Spain, Iceland and Greenland will see totality as the sun, moon and Earth align near sunset; an even longer eclipse in 2027 will also be visible from Israel

On August 12, nearly one billion people could see a partial solar eclipse, with 15 million in its path of totality.
