The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Monday that US forces are continuing to strictly enforce Washington's maritime blockade against Iran It announced that dozens of commercial vessels have been redirected while others have been boarded or disabled amid heightened tensions in the Gulf. In a statement posted on its official X account, CENTCOM said, "U.S. forces continue to strictly enforce the U.S. blockade against Iran. As of Aug. 3, CENTCOM has redirected 44 commercial vessels, disabled two, and boarded two."
