LinkedIn is strengthening automation defenses and detecting many automated comment attempts daily. The platform is deploying improved classifiers to identify slop and low quality content. Member feedback mechanisms will expand to flag AI-generated or inauthentic posts. LinkedIn will also test features privately alerting creators about content perception. Profile and page verification is expanding to enhance user trust and transparency.

LinkedIn rolled out a new feature letting users flag any post that "Seems like AI slop." Chief product officer Hari Srinivasan says it will feed the platform's models.

LinkedIn has added a “Seems like AI slop” button to flag machine-written posts, following its May crackdown and a report that 41% of long-form posts are AI.

It’s also removing an AI “enhance” feature.
