IndiGo to decide on next aircraft order in 2030 after assessing new-generation planes: Rahul Bhatia

IndiGo plans to wait until the early 2030s before placing its next aircraft order as it evaluates next-generation aircraft technologies that promise lower costs and emissions. Managing Director Rahul Bhatia said the airline is well positioned until 2035 with more than 900 aircraft on order, while focusing on sustainability, long-haul expansion and maintaining its cost advantage.
