Kuwait says Iran strike hit Chinese firm’s building killing 1 worker

DUBAI: The Kuwaiti military said on Thursday that an Iranian strike north of the country hit a building belonging to a Chinese firm, killing a worker and causing significant damage to the structure. “Competent authorities immediately began taking the necessary measures and dealing with the situation upon the occurrence of the incident, in coordination with the relevant authorities,” Maj. Gen. Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, spokesperson of the Defense Ministry, said in a statement.
