Google launched Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite on 21 July 2026 with lower list prices, shorter task times and general availability across its developer services. The defining gain is efficiency. Independent testing by Artificial Analysis gives Gemini 3.6 Flash the same overall Intelligence Index score as Gemini 3.5 Flash, while Google reports stronger results on selected coding, computer-use and knowledge-work tests. Gemini 3.6 Flash costs $1.50 per million input tokens and $7.50 per million output tokens.
