Ukraine's military said on Thursday that it struck 12 Russian tankers in the Sea of Azov overnight. It also added that the attack was part of its efforts to disrupt Russia's military supply routes and cut off support to Russian-occupied Crimea.

Operators from Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck eight tankers belonging to Russia's so-called shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov on the night of 6-7 July.
