Two Bulgarian children, an 8-year-old boy and his 10-year-old sibling, were found dead inside a parked car in the Cypriot village of Xylofagu, in the Famagusta district, an area that falls under the jurisdiction of the British Sovereign Base of Dhekelia. The children had recently traveled from Bulgaria to spend their summer vacation with their father, who lives in the village.

They were found in a car parked in the British base of Dhekelia, with police from the base attending the scene as well as an ambulance.
