Former Minister of Transportation and former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has openly rejected the outcome of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election, describing the results being announced by the party as “concocted” amid allegations of widespread voter disenfranchisement and electoral malpractice. Amaechi, who was one of the leading contenders in the party’s presidential primary alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and businessman Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, made his position known in a statement posted on his X account on Tuesday.
