The US Department of Justice has released an additional filing linked to the Trump-IRS settlement, preventing the federal agency from pursuing existing tax audits involving the US president, his family and affiliated businesses.

An expanded settlement agreement was signed by acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and posted on the Justice Department’s website on Tuesday.

The update to Donald Trump’s settlement with the IRS shields him, his family, and their various businesses.
