Both accused were arrested after a woman received a video in error, which allegedly showed the accused violating the victim.
Two Chatsworth men, who allegedly kidnapped, assaulted and raped a 12-year-old Montford man with a baton, made a bail bid in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court earlier today.
Diveshan Chetty, 32, and Fiaaz Mohamed Khan, 41, of Montford, were charged rape, kidnapping, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and possession of drugs.
They were arrested in June.
Magistrate Stephanie Botes granted Chetty bail of R5,000, while Khan’s bail application was denied.
