According to the charges, it has been alleged that Chetty and Khan had kidnapped the victim, who is known to them, and assaulted and raped him with a baton.
TWO Chatsworth men, who were charged for the alleged kidnapping, rape, and assault of a 20-year-old Montford man, were denied bail in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court.
Diveshan Chetty, 32, and Fiaaz Mohamed Khan, 41, of Montford, made their first appearance on June 29.
Their bail application was denied by Magistrate Stephanie Botes on Wednesday.
