The drugs were seized from the man while he was allegedly drug dealing in full view of the public.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in Westcliff, Chatsworth, after police allegedly found him selling drugs on the roadside.
Officers seized 100 sachets of crystal methamphetamine and 95 mandrax tablets, police said.
The Durban Metro Police Drug Team conducted an intelligence-driven operation targeting the suspected drug dealer operating from the roadside at the corner of Crimby Avenue and Silverheights Road in Westcliff.
“The suspect was allegedly selling drugs openly to customers in full view of the public,” said Colonel Booysie Zungu, spokesperson for Durban Metro Police.
