A Durban man is set to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court today for dealing in cannabis after the police raided a shop in Florida Road and in uMhlanga.
According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Paul Magwaza, the 25-year-old suspect was arrested by officers from the Provincial Drugs and Firearms Team and the Economic Infrastructure Task Team after an intelligence driven operation on Florida Road in Durban on Tuesday.
“A search of the shop revealed a substantial amount of various kinds of cannabis in different packaging. Police proceeded to another shop at uMhlanga where they seized more cannabis products. The suspect was then subsequently charged with dealing in drugs.”
A 25-year-old suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear in court today.
