The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Adewole Adebayo, has promised to install between 11 and 15 kilowatts of solar power on every Nigerian’s roof within 11 months of assuming office if elected in 2027.
Adebayo made the promise on Tuesday while fielding questions in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time.’
He said his administration would establish solar-panel manufacturing factories across the country and train Nigerians in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems.
“I promise that between 11 to 15 kilowatts of solar power will be put on every roof within 11 months,” he said.
