The Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, on Tuesday presented a comprehensive policy blueprint aimed at shifting national discourse toward ideas-based governance and institutional reform.
Mr Adebayo, a professor, who did the public presentation of the Presidential Blueprint, entitled: ‘Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity’ in Abuja, decried the economic and security challenges currently confronting the country.
He argued that the nation’s challenges stemmed directly from past leadership failures rather than natural limitations.
Mr Adebayo, however, stated that a four-year term was an ample time for a focused administration to deliver tangible structural results, comparing it with completing a university degree.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the newly-presented blueprint focused on human development, economic productivity and localised infrastructure solutions.
