DStv is changing the way South Africans can subscribe to its streaming service, with five new packages launching on September 17.
DStv is introducing a new five-tier streaming package structure in South Africa, with prices starting at R99 a month.
The new packages will launch on September 17, 2026, replacing the current structure as MultiChoice responds to changing viewing habits and customer needs.
The announcement was made on Monday at a media briefing at MultiChoice City in Randburg by Willington Ngwepe, chief executive officer of MultiChoice (Pty) Ltd.
The revamp is being positioned as the company's biggest rethink of its package structure in 15 years.
