Three persons, including a 5-year-old boy, were killed and three persons sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Bengaluru since Sunday.Bhuveen, who was on his way to school with his mother on a two-wheeler, was run over by a truck on Uttarahalli main road on Monday. While Bhuveen was killed on the spot, his mother Shubhalatha sustained minor injuries. The police suspect Shubhalatha was trying to overtake a truck and crashed into a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.Sensing trouble, the truck driver and bike rider abandoned their vehicles and fled the scene. The Kengeri traffic police registered a case of hit and run and efforts are on to track them down.In another incident in the same area, Chetan, 36, was killed after he reportedly fell off his motorcycle and was run over by a lorry in Kengeri on Sunday. According to the police, Chetan was returning home from work when he allegedly lost control and fell on the road.A 63-year-old auto driver was killed in an accident near ISKCON temple at Mahalakshmi Layout, involving a KSRTC bus and lorry. The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Muktiyar. Two passengers travelling in the auto sustained minor injuries. The police said the incident occurred around 6 p.m. when the lorry allegedly rammed the autorickshaw. The impact caused the vehicle to lose control and collide with the KSRTC bus.
