The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), together with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), foiled a terrorist attack that Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) was preparing against one of the leaders of a Russian opposition political nationalist movement who had traveled to Ukraine for Independence Day.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this on Telegram.
Operational and investigative measures are currently underway.
As reported by Ukrinform, in August, the SSU counterintelligence, together with the National Police, foiled a terrorist attack by Russian intelligence services and prevented the assassination of the head of a defense industry enterprise in the Kyiv region.
