Claiming to have murdered a man, two persons surrendered before the Dindigul Taluk Police on Monday. After searching for the victim’s body for almost five hours, the police recovered it from a secluded water body and sent it to the Government Hospital for post-mortem.Police said that the victim was identified as Karanraj. The reason for the murder was unknown as the two suspects who had surrendered did not cooperate in confession.A senior officer said that the victim was murdered and the body was abandoned in the tank.
