Two persons were murdered in different areas under Madurai rural district police limits since Saturday night.In the first incident, a murder case accused, K. Manikandan (27), was found stabbed to death in Andipatti Bungalow in Vadipatti police station limits on Saturday night.The police said that Manikandan had been chased away by the police ever since he came out in bail after he was involved in the murder of one Saravanapandi in 2025. He had been working in a quarry in Bengaluru.However, he had come to his home after his wife delivered a baby two days back. Meanwhile, he had consumed liquor with few persons. Later, he was found stabbed to death. Meanwhile, two persons, P. Arunkumar (27) and G. Dinesh Kumar (24) surrendered before the police. Vadipatti police are investigating.Meanwhile, police found another person murdered in Silaiman police station limits.The police said that the unidentified person was found lying dead in a pool of blood.
