The price of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol, has risen to as high as N1,350 per litre in parts of the Federal Capital Territory following successive increases in the gantry price by Dangote Refinery within the last one week.

Checks by the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday showed that filling stations across the FCT had adjusted their petrol prices upward.

Eterna filling station sold petrol at N1,320 per litre, Gegu Oil sold at N1,310 per litre, while Salbas Oil sold at N1,330 per litre.

Other filling stations, including Nipco, sold petrol at N1,350 per litre, AY Shafa at N1,350 per litre, and TotalEnergies sold at N1,280 per litre.

Dangote Refinery increased its gantry price from N1,165 per litre to N1,185 per litre, and subsequently to N1,200 per litre and N1,265 per litre within the last one week.
