Many filling stations across the Federal Capital Territory have increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol.
The development came despite a decline in international crude oil prices from $92 per barrel to $87.31 per barrel.
Brent crude stood at $88.10 per barrel, down 0.47 per cent, while West Texas Intermediate fell 0.16 per cent to $83.40 per barrel.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Dangote Refinery increased its gantry price, or ex-depot price, from N1,165 per litre to N1,185, and subsequently to N1,200 and N1,265 within the last one week.
