African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, and his lead counsel, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, will on Monday address journalists on the Department of State Services’ (DSS) decision to suspend the criminal case against the activist until after the 2027 general election
The media briefing is scheduled for 12 noon at CitiPoint Chambers, 11 C.I.P.M. Avenue, off Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja Central Business District, Alausa-Ikeja.
According to the media invitation issued ahead of the briefing, Sowore and his lawyer will speak on the latest developments surrounding the case, which arose from his description of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a “criminal.”
The briefing follows the reported decision by DSS Director-General, Tosin Ajayi, to suspend the prosecution until after the 2027 presidential election.
