SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — A landslide blocked a portion of the municipal road leading to Barangay Lapting in Nagbukel town, Ilocos Sur, amid persistent rain.
Personnel of the Nagbukel Municipal Police Station, led by acting chief of police Maj. Alberto Ramos Jr., responded to the incident and coordinated the clearing operation.
Police worked with personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Bureau of Fire Protection-Nagbukel, and barangay officials to clear the affected portion of soil and debris.
