SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — A landslide struck a portion of a road in Barangay Pancian in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, amid rains in parts of the province on Monday.
The Pagudpud police conducted a site inspection to determine the extent of the landslide and check the condition of the affected road.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, the road remained passable to all types of vehicles, police said.
Authorities continued to monitor the area for possible changes in road conditions and other hazards as rains persisted in Ilocos Norte.
