SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — A portion of the Suyo–Cervantes Road in Barangay Urzadan, in Suyo, Ilocos Sur, was rendered impassable to all types of vehicles on Wednesday after a landslide blocked the roadway amid heavy rains.
As of 1:05 p.m., authorities reported that landslide debris had completely obstructed the road, making it impassable for vehicles.
Clearing operations were immediately launched to remove the debris and restore access to the affected section.
