DINDIGULRagu alias Ragavendra, 23, of Prabha Nagar at Poomparai in Dindigul district was detained under the Goondas Act on Saturday.Police said that following the murder of a SC youth, Ramar, 25, in Kodaikanal a few days ago, Ragu was arrested and sent to judicial custody in Dindigul district jail on murder charges. Based on the recommendation of SP Jeyakumar, Collector Durga Moorthy ordered the detention of the accused under the Goondas Act.
