Leaders of the A.P. Joint Action Committee (APJAC)-Amaravati called upon employees across Andhra Pradesh to unite and fight for their legitimate rights, dignity, and long-pending financial benefits.Addressing the media in Vijayawada on Monday (August 24, 2026), the association said that despite multiple representations, the government has maintained silence on the dues amounting to ₹40,000 crore. The government should abandon its “indifferent” approach and resolve these issues, they demanded.APJAC-Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu stated that employees had repeatedly submitted representations and participated in discussions, appealing to the government, but no concrete decisions had been made yet. He questioned the delay in acting on assurances reportedly given before the elections and stated that prolonged discussions without outcomes were causing frustration among employees.State general secretary Palisetti Damodara Rao said that employees’ patience should not be mistaken for weakness. He stated that the government’s failure to implement assurances and its delay in responding to discussions had increased dissatisfaction.In an appeal to employees, teachers, pensioners, and contract and outsourcing workers to unite, he emphasised that the fight is not just for pending dues but also for dignity.The leaders later released a poster and pamphlet ahead of the State-level conference, scheduled for August 28 at the Makineni Basavapunnayya Vignana Kendram in Vijayawada.
