COTABATO CITY – A construction worker was killed and two others were wounded in separate gun attacks in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Thursday.
The shooting incidents occurred in the town of Pahamuddin in BARMM’s Special Geographic Area (SGA) and in Sultan Mastura in Maguindanao del Norte.
With these two violent incidents involving firearms, the number of gun-related incidents across the region rose to 45 with 15 dead and 10 wounded since the implementation of the election gun ban on July 16.
The Pahamuddin municipal police office identified the fatality as Farhan Endaw Lidasan, 31, a resident of Barangay Alamada, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
