COTABATO CITY – A non-uniformed personnel of Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) was killed in the latest gun attack in Maguindanao del Norte on Saturday morning, Aug. 22, police said.
Capt. Steffi Salanguit, PRO-BAR spokesperson, identified the victim as Jonathan A. Juan, who was assigned at the Sultan Kudarat municipal police station, and a resident of Pigcawayan, Cotabato.

Salanguit said Juan was driving his motorbike on his way to his place of assignment when two men riding tandem on a motorbike shot him from behind while along the national highway in Barangay Dalumangcob, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte at 8:10 a.m.
