Bulgaria Air will increase the number of flights between Sofia and Burgas during the Eurovision 2027 period, responding to expectations of increased travel demand as Bulgaria prepares to host the international music competition.

The national carrier will operate up to two daily flights on the Sofia-Burgas-Sofia route from May 2 through May 19, 2027. Additional afternoon flights will be introduced alongside the regular evening services in the days leading up to Eurovision, providing connections for passengers arriving at Sofia Airport on international flights.

The airline will also adjust its schedule after the Eurovision final, adding morning departures from Burgas to Sofia to accommodate the expected return flow and allow passengers to connect with international services from the capital.

The changes are intended to make travel easier for spectators, performers' teams, guests, media representatives and other visitors heading to Burgas for one of the largest international music events of 2027.

Passengers traveling through Sofia will also have access to Bulgaria Air's international network of more than 20 destinations across Europe and the Middle East.
