An 81MW data center is being planned in Sydney, Australia.
First reported by the North Sydney Sun, Gateway Capital has filed a SEARS application with the New South Wales Government for the Frederick Street Data Centre project.

Located on 1.8 hectares at 12 Frederick Street in the St Leonards area of Sydney, Gateway aims to develop a five-story building totaling 16,635 sqm (179,058 sq ft) and offering 81MW of capacity, as well as an on-site substation.
Up to AU$1 billion (US$720m) could be invested in the project. The site would host 11 data halls and 44 generators. The facility will be constructed and operated by Gateway Capital and Lendlease, according to documents.
