Australian data center firm CDC has filed to develop a new campus in Sydney.
In a SEARS application with the New South Wales government, CDC has filed to develop a data center at 871-901 Mamre Road in Kemps Creek, in the west of Sydney.

The 88.4-hectare project would include one large building and an on-site substation building. The four-story KC1 building would total 144MW of capacity across 34,000 sqm (365,970 sq ft).
Up to AU$1.8 billion (US$1.2bn) could be invested in the project.
