MANILA, Philippines — The government will give local government units (LGUs) a record ₱1.32 trillion in National Tax Allotment (NTA) in 2027 as it continues to devolve basic services.

The 2027 allocation is ₱129.32 billion, or 10.9%, higher than the ₱1.19 trillion allotted to LGUs in 2026, according to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
