Russia's total combat losses since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,480,750 personnel as of August 26, 2026, including 1,450 troops lost over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The Russian army has also lost 12,300 tanks (+7), 25,230 armored combat vehicles (+10), 48,641 artillery systems (+74), 2,062 multiple-launch rocket systems (+4), 1,588 air defense systems (+1), 440 aircraft (+0), 354 helicopters (+0), 2,387 ground robotic systems (+9), 481,605 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,723), 5,052 cruise missiles (+0), 35 warships and boats (+0), 2 submarines (+0), 139,754 vehicles and fuel tanks (+533), and 4,592 units of special equipment (+10).
