Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to August 23, 2026—amount to approximately 1,476,580 personnel, including 1,310 over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In addition, Russia has lost 12,292 (+0) tanks, 25,202 (+26) armored fighting vehicles, 48,451 (+69) artillery systems, 2,054 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,585 (+1) air defense systems, aircraft—440 (+1), helicopters—354 (+0), ground-based robotic systems—2,352 (+8), operational-tactical UAVs—476,566 (+1,925), cruise missiles—5,052 (+3), ships/boats—35 (+0), submarines—2 (+0), vehicles and tanker trucks—138,219 (+415), and specialized equipment—4,569 (+4).
