The total combat losses of Russian forces from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through August 27, 2026, amount to approximately 1,482,150 personnel, including 1,400 over the past day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The Russian army has also lost 12,304 (+4) tanks, 25,237 (+7) armored combat vehicles, 48,694 (+53) artillery systems, 2,065 (+3) multiple-launch rocket systems, 1,590 (+2) air defense systems, 440 (+0) aircraft, 354 (+0) helicopters, 2,404 (+17) ground robotic systems, 483,367 (+1,762) operational-tactical UAVs, 5,052 (+0) cruise missiles, 35 (+0) ships and boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 140,248 (+494) vehicles and fuel tanks, and 4,602 (+10) units of special equipment.
