Hyderabad-based startup incubator T-Hub has partnered with the Central Command of the Indian Army to create a direct pathway for defence startups to develop and deploy technologies addressing real-world military challenges.Under the partnership, T-Hub will receive active problem statements from the Central Command and identify suitable startups to develop solutions. The startups will work with Army stakeholders to develop, validate and refine their technologies based on operational requirements, with the aim of taking viable solutions towards deployment.A joint oversight committee will monitor the programme and coordinate engagements between startups and Army stakeholders.The partnership builds on T-Hub’s existing collaboration with the Western Command of the Indian Army and strengthens its engagement with the armed forces at the Command level. T-Hub is also among 28 organisations selected to implement the Ministry of Defence’s Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) scheme.“What founders need is direct engagement with end users to ensure their technologies meet real deployment conditions. This collaboration creates that pathway. This partnership reflects strong confidence in the calibre of Indian defence startups and in Hyderabad’s ability to build technologies that can address critical requirements,” said T-Hub CEO Kavikrut.
