Startup incubator T-Hub and Honda Digital Innovation India (HDII) have rolled out Honda Innovation Challenge 1.0, an initiative focused on accelerating startup-led mobility solutions across intelligent mobility and vehicle technologies.Four startups, Xane AI, Attento Technologies, AppTestify and SenSight Technologies were selected for the inaugural cohort from over 300 applications received from across India and international markets. The startups will receive co-development funding of up to ₹10 lakh and work with Honda’s engineering and business teams for 12-weeks to build solutions for real-world mobility applications. They will also gain access to operational insights, testing environments and deployment support to accelerate product development, T-Hub said in a release on Monday. The launch comes in the backdrop of automotive companies increasingly collaborating with startups globally to co-develop and deploy specialised mobility technologies for real-world use cases. As connected vehicles, intelligent safety systems and digital driving experiences continue to evolve, enterprises are looking to work more closely with agile startups capable of building and validating solutions at speed, the incubator said.“This initiative has been designed to help startups work closely with one of the world’s leading automotive companies and accelerate solutions for real-world deployment,” T-Hub CEO Kavikrut said.
