Tech start-up incubator T-Hub has joined hands with the Central Command of the Army to provide a direct path for defence start-ups to work on real problem statements and military deployments. Founders will develop and validate technologies to tackle active military challenges, advancing the country’s Defence modernisation.Under the partnership, T-Hub will receive active problem statements from the Central Command and will identify and select relevant start-ups to address these challenges. A joint committee will supervise programme execution and engagements between start-ups and Army stakeholders. T-Hub is one of 28 organisations selected to implement the Ministry of Defence led iDEX scheme and engaged over 100 Defence start-ups. Through iDEX, T-Hub start-ups have unlocked over ₹250 crore in commercial Defence orders.“What founders need is direct engagement with end users to ensure their technologies meet real deployment conditions.
