The US Department of State has announced rewards of up to $10 million for information leading to the identification or location of several Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders, including two commanders killed in the recent war.
According to the official account of the State Department’s “Rewards for Justice” program, these individuals commanded units that targeted U.S. forces in armed attacks or engaged in malicious cyber operations against critical US infrastructure.
The published list includes “Mojtaba Khamenei,” Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic; “Ali-Asghar Hejazi,” Deputy Chief of Staff to the Supreme Leader; “Yahya Rahim Safavi,” Military Advisor to the Supreme Leader; “Eskandar Momeni,” Minister of Interior; “Ahmad Vahidi,” Commander of the IRGC; “Ali Abdollahi,” Commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters; and “Hamidreza Lashgarian,” Commander of the IRGC Cyber-Electronic Command.
Also named on the list are “Saeed Aghajani,” former commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force UAV Command, and “Majid Khademi,” former head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization. According to reports, both were killed in the recent war.
Five additional officials were listed without names and identified solely by their titles: Secretary of the Defense Council, Advisor to the Supreme Leader, Chief of the Supreme Leader’s Military Office, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Minister of Intelligence.
