The U.S. State Department’s “Rewards for Justice” program has authorized a reward of up to $15 million for information regarding members of the Kimia Part Sivan Company (KIPAS).
According to the official announcement, the reward will be granted for any information leading to the disruption of the “financial mechanisms of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).” The IRGC is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States.
The Rewards for Justice program stated that KIPAS serves as a drone production arm for the IRGC Quds Force. Its officials and members have reportedly conducted drone flight tests for the Quds Force and provided technical support for operational drones transferred to Iraq. The company is also accused of procuring drone components from foreign-based firms for use by the IRGC.
In a statement released by the U.S. government on Thursday, May 14, several key individuals were identified:
“Leading members of the Iran-based KIPAS company, including Hassan Arambonjad, Abolfazl Ramazanzadeh Mushkani, Mehdi Ghaffari Naghneh, Reza Nahardani, Abbas Sartaji, and Hadi Jamshidi Zavarki, have been actively involved in the testing, development, and supply of the company’s drones, particularly to Iran-aligned militia groups in Iraq, Yemen, and Syria.”
