The Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) has long been Greece’s leading institution for economic dialogue and international outreach, while Thessaloniki and Northern Greece are at the heart of development trends, serving as a strategic hub for investment, trade, industry, innovation, energy and cross-border cooperation for Greece and Southeast Europe.Naftemporiki, with its longstanding presence at TIF, will once again participate in 2026 with a fully equipped TV studio and a team of experienced journalists. Throughout the Fair, its pavilion will serve as a meeting point for the political, business and academic communities, highlighting the key developments shaping the economic, business and geopolitical landscape.At the same time, in cooperation with TIF-HELEXPO, Naftemporiki is organizing for the second consecutive year the N-TIF Forum, an institution for substantive dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing the Greek economy.In the wake of the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ policy announcements at the 90th TIF and amid a rapidly changing international environment, the 2nd N-TIF Forum, titled “The New Catalysts of Growth and International Expansion,” will focus on the factors that will shape Greece’s growth trajectory and international standing in the years ahead.Investment, productivity, innovation, artificial intelligence, human capital and geoeconomic power are emerging as critical drivers of competitiveness at a time of profound technological, economic and geopolitical transformation.Through three high-level thematic sessions, the Forum will examine the conditions needed for a more competitive, outward-looking and resilient economy, while highlighting the role of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece as pillars of growth, investment and regional cooperation in Southeast Europe.Japan participates as the Honorary Country, with particular emphasis on the prospects for Greece-Japan cooperation in technology, innovation, industry, investment and human capital development.
