Doris Magsaysay Ho, the CEO of Magsaysay Group, is recognized for her leadership in promoting gender equity in the maritime sector, achieving significant milestones such as the EDGE Assess certification and establishing the MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy.
Ho has received the Ramon V. del Rosario Nation Building award, becoming the first woman to do so, and has also made history by chairing the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association, emphasizing the importance of seafarers' welfare and career advancement.
