SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Four northernmost Zambales towns suspended face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools on Monday due to moderate to heavy rain showers, lightning, and strong winds brought by the intensified southwest monsoon.

In the municipalities of Masinloc and Palauig, the suspension also covers teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Schools in Palauig and the towns of Candelaria and Sta. Cruz may shift to online or modular distance learning so students can continue their studies.
