Traffic officers executed 160 outstanding warrants across Cape Town on Wednesday.
Cape Town motorists who have been putting off dealing with outstanding traffic warrants could find officers arriving at their homes.
Traffic officers executed 160 warrants at 54 addresses across the metro on Wednesday as part of the City's efforts to track down motorists over traffic transgressions.
Sixteen people were arrested, while 39 were released on warning. Traffic Services spokesperson Kevin Jacobs said R110 000 in outstanding fines were also settled during the operation.
"Suspects finalised outstanding warrants to the value of R110 000 at the department's mobile payment centre," he said.
