Four people were detained during a specialized police operation in Sunny Beach, where officers inspected entertainment venues and commercial establishments and found drugs, laughing gas and tobacco without an excise stamp.
The operation involved officers from the Criminal Police and Economic Police departments of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry, along with police officers from the Nessebar Regional Directorate.
During the inspections, authorities discovered several types of narcotics, including marijuana, methamphetamine and ecstasy. Two pre-trial proceedings and five police files have been opened in connection with the findings.
One of the investigations concerns the possession of eight ecstasy tablets and three grams of methamphetamine. The second involves 10 grams of marijuana.
Police also found an additional two grams of marijuana and a vape containing HHC, or hexahydrocannabinol.
