Political fixer Brown Mogotsi is back in court after a magistrate ruled that state witnesses' identities should remain confidential over safety concerns.
Controversial North West businessman and alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi is back in court as prosecutors move closer to trial in allegations that he staged an assassination attempt on himself in Vosloorus last year.
The Johannesburg Magistrate's Court previously dismissed Mogotsi's application to force prosecutors to disclose the identities and addresses of state witnesses expected to testify against him.
The court ruled that their details should remain confidential because of safety concerns.
The case was postponed to Thursday to allow the State to hand the remaining investigation docket to the defence before the matter proceeds.
