Stellantis is in talks to sell its Brampton Assembly Plant, according to a statement released by its union.
Unifor, in a Friday, Aug. 14 statement, said on Aug. 12, “the company informed the union of its intent to open discussions with another firm about the potential sale of the plant.”
The union says it received notice from the automaker on Wednesday that it was seriously evaluating the sale and closure.
